Turns out MADISON HAS BEEN HOLDING THE PENCIL INCORRECTLY!
Yes!
I noticed this morning that she rests her middle finger over the pencil instead of under the pencil! So heretofore the pencil was resting on her ring finger rather than the more stable middle finger.
She corrected herself and YIPPEE finds it much easier! And it is FAR neater! So I'm hoping that soon she'll be able to write faster and neater, and be much more satisfied with her own work.
