I've found a great method for getting the kids to do their school work happily and busily: Make their Halloween costume in their presence. Let it be known that when they stop or balk, you stop and shrug.
Too bad Halloween only comes once per year.
Wait until you see the photos. Madison is a piano. I almost didn't think I could pull it off.
