Madison was up *before 7* this morning, wanting to go running.
She had to drag ME away from the computer this time.
We went for a short one so she'd have time to shower and eat before camp.
"I LOVE this, Mom," she said to me as we were walking back up the hill toward home. "If we do this all the time, it's going to be so good for me."
"And for me," I said.
(Short pause.)
"Well, yeah. It will be good for you, too. But right now I'm thinking mostly about me. Okay?"
"Mariposario" means "butterfly sanctuary" in Spanish and is the name of our home school. My two little butterflies are Madison (10 1/2) and Ella (9). This blog records the minutiae of Madison and Ella's learning, mostly for me to keep records of progress, but also so that others can add their two cents.
