We decided it was time, for the sake of cultural literacy, to have the girls memorize something from the Bible. The 23rd Psalm was a natural choice.
Just now, to see how well Ella knows the poem, David prompted:
"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want..."
Ella didn't miss a beat, and continued: "...to say this poem any more."
