Rience Reasoning

Ella suddenly came up to me this afternoon and said,

"I think it's true that if I were able to run at the speed of light, I could run across a lake and not sink."

What instigated this chain of reasoning? I'm glad I asked.

Scooby-Doo.

Picture Shaggy being so scared and running so fast that he could run across water. That's what got her thinking.

I'll take it where I can get it.



(Of course Tony pointed out to me later that if she really were to run across the lake at the speed of light, if she touched the water at all it would probably kill her.)

(And then later, David pointed out that the air friction alone would kill her.)
