Ella - spontaneous handwriting

Today while I was reading The Story of Science to Madison, Ella, listening only minimally while playing with the Math-U-See blocks got the idea *on her own* to write out the text of the first page of her Phonics reading book (The Lost Horse) on the white board. All of a sudden, I looked up and there was:

Norman did his chores and went into the barn, but he forgot to latch the gate.

I love these Phonics books; they're from Educator's Publishing Service and have worked great.
