I guess it's a little on the late side for Madison to be losing her first tooth (she'll be 7 in September), but she did, tonight. She's very proud. She's writing a note to the tooth fairy as I'm typing this; she doesn't want to lose the tooth to get the money, she wants to keep it, so she's writing a note to go in with the envelope under her pillow that says "Bring it back tomorrow night." Of course, as this is the child who deduced the truth about about Santa at the age of 3-and-a-half, she doesn't believe in the tooth fairy, but she loves playing these games with us.
David and I are feeling dreadfully sentimental.
