The girls usually start their wander-downstairs early mornings on school days with a little television.
(Go ahead, scowl, you purists. :-) It works for us.)
Madison was down first today, unusual for her. She was still pretty dazed. As she passed me, yawning, she said,
"I'm going to watch TV for a little while now. It's the only thing I can really do with my eyes closed."

LOL, she could be my child. I drive my DH crazy because I listen to TV with my eyes closed on those rare occasions I "watch" it. I like to find "Law & Order" and then use it to fall asleep.
