I took the girls out to lunch on Friday. I try to do this once every three weeks or so, to break up the homeschooling routine. We almost always bring a book along that I read out loud while we're waiting for our food.
A little after we sat down, I saw Ella looking around, craning her neck to look every which way.
"What are you doing?" I asked her.
"Trying to find more signs to read!" she replied.
I (just barely) refrained from doing the Chair Dance of Mommy Joy.
