Revised entire manuscript for 8 hours yesterday. Added exciting new plot device of embedded code letters into the clues.
Around midnight last night, sent out manuscript to the four agents who requested it at the conference last week.
As of 12pm today had already heard back from TWO of them, thanking me for sending it, saying that they're really looking forward to reading it.
One response was even from the big hifallutin agency that also represents Hollywood talent types. (I looked the agent up and saw her pedigree last night, which convinced me that her enthusiasm must have been a result of my overselling the action in my book...but I got a nice note back from her this morning, so who knows.)
